Class in negative painting

Negative painting is a technique where you outline a shape (like a tree, leaf, or mountain) and surround
the shape with a darker or lighter colour. It is called negative painting because you are working with negative space. You can see two examples of me here. We will work on a canvas with acrylic paints, I will arrange all the materials and tools for the classes. |
Negative Painting is for everybody, experienced or beginner!
This workshop (about 4,5 - 5 hrs ) will be on an afternoon, we start with the explanation and painting our background and after a little break we will be finishing the painting with your negative shape.
I will have plenty of examples and will guide you through the process.
After the workshop you can leave your painting behind so I can varnish your painting when it has dried.
This to ensure that you can enjoy your painting for a long time!!
We will agree on a pick-up date.
Of course the workshop will include coffee/tea/water and a snack.
€69 including materials like a canvas, paints, use of tools and drink and snacks.
Minimum of 3 persons per class, maximum 5 persons.
