My Poem-Paintings are very meaningful to me, let me tell you a bit about this special collection.
I have painted intuitively for some time now, every now and than I was inspired by a poem and started painting with the poem in mind. After a while I started writing those poems on my canvas as a first layer and I really loved what it did to the painting and to me. It gave the painting an extra meaning and an intention for me. It was something I kept doing and loved more and more.
In this collection every painting is inspired by a poem which I have written onto the canvas board first.
In some of them you still see a glimpse of the written words shining through.
The poem is also written on the back of each of the originals, with permission of the poets, ready for you to read and feel.
That is something that I love a lot about poems and paintings, you feel them or you don't..
Hopefully you find a painting that resonates with you and where you feel connected to, like I did with all of these seven poems!
I truly hope you enjoy looking at the collection!
